Browsing at Powells, we recently came across a book that proved worthy of interrupting all the other great books we are reading at present. Human-Built World: How to Think about Technology and Culture is a fascinating look at technology in different eras drawing heavily upon literture, art and architecture.

We recenly visited the showroom of Environmental Building Supplies. This is a wonderful place to browse around and check out new healty alternative materials with knowlegable people on hand to answer any questions. (We plan a return trip just to pour over the book section.)
